I was really pleased with the value for money; the room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring, and the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home.
The breakfast selection could definitely include more variety.

Generally, the place was stylish and had superbly friendly and outstandingly accommodating staff on late shift. We ate at a magnificent restaurant for breakfast. Really enjoyed convenient decor, plus a laptop-size safe, a minibar, and central heating were at a high level. Everything was simply great.

The hotel has a unique design that stands out, with rooms that offer a cozy vibe. The staff is friendly, though service could sometimes miss the mark. It's conveniently located near the CBD, but be prepared for some quirks like limited parking options. It's a decent stay.

the venue was gorgeous, i thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the location was marvellous near to the centre of the redeveloped britomart, and commercial bay, viaduct, ferry terminal. the room was well-organised and compact and the facilities included a safe box, multi-channel television and a mini-fridge-bar.

Well-organised, gorgeous rooms with the bedroom and SKY TV which is incredibly dated by today's standard, as for instance, AWESOME setting.

The front desk staff really brought down my experience. They seemed annoyed to be there and barely acknowledged us. It felt awkward and unwelcoming, which is a shame because the rest of the hotel was really nice.

I recently had a fantastic stay at Hotel Britomart. The design of the hotel beautifully blends modern touches with elegant accents of New Zealand Māori culture. I loved the in-room amenities and was particularly impressed with the diverse reading material provided. The location is perfect for exploring various attractions, and the free bicycles made it easy to enjoy the scenic waterfront. The staff were helpful, especially Rick, who gave great recommendations for local bars.
Was all great! 😁 Just wish the breakfast options were better.

location proximity to Britomart, fine views over freight docks, convenient loan umbrella service
A table in the room would be practical for two guests!!! Only one hand towel provided for two guests was inconvenient!!! The cocktails need a bit more creativity and refinement!!!

Staff displayed really good dedication even amidst challenging weather conditions. The room had a fantastic view and was perfectly functional, while the bar and lounge were among the finest in the city. Parking can be tricky, particularly for first-time drivers, and the pricing felt steep compared to nearby accommodations. While the location is undeniably central, the overall value relative to similar hotels remains uncertain.

I recently spent 2 nights here and loved the free Wi-Fi and the smart TV casting feature. The cozy, well-designed rooms kept me comfy throughout my stay. Plus, the option to 'steal' items like the lamp was a fun surprise! I would definitely come back again.

The Hotel Britomart impressed me right from the start. Staff greeted me warmly in their olive green jackets. Check-in went smoothly without any hassle. They knew the local area well and gave some great suggestions. The beautiful room was well-appointed with a lovely handwritten welcome card and a free bottle of Pinot Noir waiting for me. That thoughtful touch added a personal feel. The location is superb, especially being so close to ferry terminals. It's perfect for exploring Waiheke Island. On a downside, the standard rooms seemed a bit smaller than expected for the price. I had trouble finding a social space since the library was often closed or booked for private events. The hot water in the bathroom took a little while to come through. While the beds were comfortable, my overall value perception was on the lower side compared to other hotels in the area. Despite this, the stay was pleasant and nice due to the friendly service and excellent location.
